The ultimate software suite to create
and play back Immersive Audio

Sound in Space

Sfear is a series of real-time audio plugins including panners, converters and rendering tools. They allow to create and animate audio in space.  The panners for mono-, stereo- & multi tracks allow an intuitive and accurate positioning as well as animation of each sound source, with full automation and MIDI control. The VST/AU plugins are compatible with most popular DAWS (Ableton Live, Logic Audio, Reaper, FL Studio,..) and Adobe Premiere.  

Visualiser

The Sfëar software package comes with a handy visualiser window to accurately track all sound sources in relation to the sweet spot location.  The visual aspects of all tracks (name, color, stereo width) can be customised to suit the users needs. A tablet version of the visualiser for further control is under development.

Rendering

Sfëar works in 3D loudspeaker setups and in binaural mode, when using headphones. 

Once the speaker setup is selected, a calibration procedure by our engineers allows the rendering of the 3D production in the current layout. This calibration can be saved, letting artists work in a virtual simulation of any location. 

 

Head tracking

Equipped with a pair of headphones with tracking capabilities, or an independent head tracking device, producers can position sounds even more accurately. The software translates movements of the head in three dimensions and plays back the audio accordingly.
